As an Agentic AI Engineer, you will collaborate with scientists to build and deploy AI agents that automate and optimize complex workflows for critical national missions. Your responsibilities will include writing software for agent communication, integrating APIs, testing, debugging, and deploying systems in various environments. This role involves both R&D and customer-facing projects, utilizing a mix of open-source and proprietary AI models to create trusted and impactful solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (2+ years experience for T2 level) • Practical understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and agent frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or AutoGen • Experience designing and implementing tool-using AI agents, including API integration and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) • Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS • Proficiency in Python • Familiarity with containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
