The EOSC Data Commons Search server facilitates seamless discovery of open-access datasets through natural language queries. It functions as a core component of the EOSC Data Commons project's MatchMaker service, leveraging the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to assist users in finding relevant datasets and tools. The server exposes a dedicated HTTP POST endpoint for engaging in LLM-powered chat interactions, compliant with the AG-UI protocol, and a separate `/mcp` endpoint for direct integration as an MCP server, supporting both streamable HTTP and STDIO transports.
