PopUI enhances Claude Desktop by enabling collaborative UX workflows. It allows Claude to create and interact with user interfaces, read changes made in the UI, and visually update the UI based on user interactions. Unlike Artifacts, PopUI closes the interaction loop, allowing Claude to interrogate and manipulate external state, fostering richer conversations built on shared visual context. This enables use cases like building control panels, working with color pickers, designing layouts, playing games, or even giving Claude a visual face to express emotions.
