ResearchTwin is an open-source, federated platform designed to overcome the 'discovery bottleneck' in scientific research caused by the exponential growth of scientific outputs. It transforms a researcher's multi-modal artifacts from sources like Semantic Scholar, Google Scholar, GitHub, and Figshare into an interactive Digital Twin. This system, built on a Bimodal Glial-Neural Optimization (BGNO) architecture, computes a real-time S-Index metric and offers a conversational chatbot interface. Crucially, it enables both human and AI agents to collaborate in accelerating scientific discovery through its inter-agentic discovery API with Schema.org types and a federated architecture supporting local nodes and hosted edges.
