Skillz acts as an experimental proof-of-concept MCP server, designed to bridge Anthropic-style skills with any compatible MCP client. It efficiently discovers skills stored in directories, registers each as a unique MCP tool, and provides authored instructions and file paths. For enhanced functionality, Skillz can also execute skill-specific helper scripts within a temporary workspace, enabling seamless integration of external capabilities into agentic workflows.
