概要

Basic Memory is a knowledge management system enabling users to build a persistent, locally-stored knowledge base through natural language conversations with Large Language Models (LLMs). Leveraging the Model Context Protocol (MCP), it allows compatible LLMs like Claude to both read from and write to your knowledge base, which is stored entirely in standard Markdown files on your computer, ensuring full data ownership and control.
