This Model Context Protocol (MCP) server extends Siemens Polarion ALM capabilities by providing robust management for test cases and test runs. It enables users to create, update, search, and manage test cases, including detailed test steps, and orchestrate test runs with result tracking and attachments. A key innovation of this server is its discovery and utilization of undocumented Polarion REST API endpoints to overcome limitations in managing test steps, offering both a "Blank Slate" REST API strategy for new test cases and a SOAP API fallback for existing ones. It also integrates seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines through JUnit XML import and simplifies bulk data management via spreadsheet import/export, making Polarion ALM more adaptable for automated testing and data synchronization.
