It allowed developers to regenerate issue content, update labels, and maintain hierarchical links by sourcing data from structured plan.md files. While the skill is now deprecated in favor of direct GitHub issue management, it remains a reference for automated documentation workflows. Users are encouraged to transition to the gh-read-issue-context and gh-post-issue-update skills for modern GitHub-native planning.
