Does it support file uploads through Claude?

Yes, the server supports file uploads, but for security reasons, all file upload requests are gated behind a mandatory human approval workflow.

What credentials do I need to set this up?

You will need a Slack Bot User OAuth Token (starting with xoxb-) and optionally an App Token if using Socket Mode, configured as environment variables.

Can Claude read all of my Slack channels?

Claude can only access channels that the Slack App has been explicitly invited to and for which you have granted specific OAuth scopes.
