Academic Search provides an MCP server that grants LLMs access to a wealth of academic knowledge. It allows for real-time searching of academic papers, retrieval of metadata and abstracts, and access to full-text content when available. Designed primarily for integration with Anthropic's Claude Desktop, its adherence to the MCP specification means potential compatibility with other AI models and clients supporting tool/function calling.
