AgentHub is a local-only Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that functions as a central nervous system for AI coding agents. It facilitates multiple agents (like Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Gemini CLI) to collaboratively work on the same codebase without conflicts. It achieves this through a Soft Locking Protocol based on Intents, allowing agents to declare their intentions to edit, coordinate, execute tasks, and route changes for review. Beyond just locking, AgentHub acts as a communication bus and an expert escalation system, integrating with advanced LLMs for complex architectural tasks, thereby streamlining AI-driven development workflows.
