This Model Context Protocol (MCP) server implementation allows AI tools like Anthropic's Claude to interact with Asana. It provides a set of tools to manage Asana workspaces, projects, tasks, and stories/comments through natural language commands. By integrating Asana with MCP, users can query and manipulate their Asana data directly from AI applications, streamlining project management workflows.

02Create and retrieve project statuses and task stories (comments).
03Get detailed information about tasks and projects.
04Access Asana resources (workspaces, projects) through consistent URIs.
05Create, update, and manage tasks, including setting dependencies and dependents.
Use Cases
01Create a new task with a due date and description directly from an AI interface.
02Query Asana for the number of unfinished tasks in a specific project using natural language.
03Get a summary and status update for a task, leveraging notes, custom fields, and comments.
