BookStack
Integrates BookStack knowledge bases with AI agents like Claude, providing full API access and advanced search capabilities.
BookStack MCP Server acts as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, enabling AI assistants like Claude to fully interact with a BookStack knowledge base. Built in Rust with tokio/axum, it exposes BookStack's complete API as a suite of 56 tools, allowing AI to perform full CRUD operations on resources like shelves, books, chapters, pages, and attachments. It offers flexible database backends (SQLite/PostgreSQL+pgvector), an optional separate embedder service for natural language semantic vector search, OAuth 2.1 support for easy AI connector setup, and AI-driven instance summaries, making BookStack content easily discoverable and manageable by intelligent agents.
