This experimental Model Context Protocol (MCP) server provides a robust interface for interacting with the GNU Debugger (GDB). Designed to control GDB sessions, it supports both local and remote debugging scenarios, including connections to QEMU, JTAG debuggers, and serial ports. It leverages the GDB Machine Interface (GDB/MI) for reliable communication, offering a rich toolset for breakpoints, execution control, memory operations, and register access. Notably, this project was entirely written by AI as an experiment to explore the capabilities of AI in developing practical software.
