This project, named EstudoMCP (meaning "MCP Study"), serves as a hands-on lab demonstrating the deployment and integration of a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server with Microsoft Copilot Studio. It showcases how to connect AI agents to external knowledge sources—specifically joke APIs—using the standardized MCP, leveraging Power Platform custom connectors to enable real-time data access for AI-powered copilots. The lab guides users through setting up a GitHub repository, deploying an Azure Web App, creating a Power Platform custom connector, and finally, adding the MCP server as an action within a Microsoft Copilot Studio agent to fetch various types of jokes.
