Mneme is a cognition runtime designed to imbue software agents with essential capabilities like long-term memory, context assembly, and comprehensive knowledge representation. It functions as a memory subsystem for LLMs, storing observations, facts, decisions, and plans as immutable, typed, temporal, and branchable records. Mneme-open specifically provides all the necessary components—including client SDKs for Python, TypeScript, and Go, CLI tools, protocol schemas, and API documentation—to seamlessly integrate with and leverage a running Mneme server.
