This project serves as a demonstration of integrating Model Context Protocol (MCP) with OPC UA systems. It provides a simple MCP server that exposes a set of tools for interacting with OPC UA servers. Leveraging AI agents (like Claude Desktop), users can connect to OPC UA servers, browse nodes, read and write values, and even receive AI-driven recommendations for process control, such as PID parameter tuning. The system allows for dynamic adjustment of control parameters and monitoring of industrial processes, bridging the gap between intelligent agents and operational technology environments.
