About

OpenRoute is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server designed to empower users with sophisticated route planning capabilities through OpenRouteService.org. It enables seamless integration with agents to plan routes for activities like hiking or mountain biking, providing detailed outputs such as GPX files, image visualizations, and interactive HTML maps. Beyond basic routing, it offers functionalities to search for coordinates, find locations from coordinates, discover points of interest, identify known trails (currently Switzerland-specific), and compute reachable areas based on time or distance.

Key Features
