Oterm provides an intuitive and simple terminal UI for interacting with Ollama models, eliminating the need for separate servers or frontends. It supports multiple persistent chat sessions, stored with system prompts and parameter customizations in SQLite. Oterm also integrates with Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools and prompts, allowing for customization of model system prompts and parameters.
