About
Portainer MCP is an implementation of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) tailored for Portainer environments. This project aims to standardize the connection between Portainer's robust container management features and AI models or other services. MCP is an open protocol that standardizes how applications provide contextual data to Large Language Models (LLMs), much like USB-C standardizes device connections. This particular fork significantly enhances the original by fixing support for listing and retrieving regular Docker Compose stacks, ensuring comprehensive exposure of Portainer's environment data, thereby enabling AI assistants and tools to securely and uniformly interact with your containerized infrastructure.
