Spotinfo is a command-line interface tool designed to simplify the exploration of AWS EC2 Spot instances, offering a powerful alternative to the AWS Spot Instance Advisor web interface. It aggregates data from AWS public feeds for both Spot Advisor and pricing, enabling users to easily inspect, filter, and compare Spot instance types. Beyond its CLI capabilities, Spotinfo also functions as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, allowing AI assistants like Claude to directly query real-time Spot data for intelligent infrastructure recommendations, automation, and cost optimization.
