Unlike traditional browser automation tools that are often headless, stateless, or human-centric, Vessel is designed with the agent as the primary operator. It provides a real browser experience with durable state management, allowing external agent harnesses like Hermes Agent and OpenClaw to perform long-running web tasks. Crucially, Vessel keeps humans in the loop through a visible supervisory UI, enabling auditing, intervention, and redirection, ensuring transparency and control over agent activities rather than relegating them to a black box.
