About
Biomni is an open-source autonomous AI agent framework developed by Stanford’s SNAP lab, designed to streamline high-level biomedical research workflows. By integrating LLM reasoning with dynamic code execution and a massive 11GB internal knowledge base, it allows researchers to execute multi-step tasks such as CRISPR screening design, single-cell RNA-seq analysis, and ADMET prediction. It serves as a unified interface for cross-domain problem solving, enabling Claude to act as a specialized laboratory assistant capable of retrieving literature, processing biological datasets, and interpreting clinical genomics results.
