The Fivetran Connector Builder skill orchestrates the end-to-end development of custom data connectors using the Fivetran Connector SDK (CSDK). Before generating code, it checks Fivetran's catalog for existing native or AI-managed Lite connectors to save development effort. When custom development is preferred, it uses standard CLI commands to scaffold clean directory structures, adapts authentication and pagination logic to API specifications, configures local environments, runs local verification tests using an embedded DuckDB instance, and applies automatic fixes to resolve code errors.
