Qpcr Analysis

From raw Ct values to correct fold changes, with the QC reviewers check

Paste your qPCR export and Claude runs a tested analysis script instead of doing ΔΔCt arithmetic in its head. What it does: • Relative expression by 2^-ΔΔCt, or efficiency-corrected (Pfaffl / qbase) when you give primer efficiencies • One or several reference genes, combined by geometric mean • Averages technical replicates and flags any with SD above 0.5 Ct • Warns when a reference gene's Ct drifts more than 2 cycles across samples • Drops 'Undetermined' wells and tells you which ones • Group summaries: fold change and log2FC ± SD per target and condition • Primer efficiency, slope and R² from a standard-curve dilution series Claude maps QuantStudio, CFX or LightCycler exports to the expected format and shows you which columns it used, and reminds you to run statistics on log2 values, not fold changes. Reliable by design: pure Python standard library (nothing to install), and a built-in self-test checks the math against Livak & Schmittgen before use. Works in Claude Code and in Claude apps with code execution enabled.

Key Features

012^-ΔΔCt or efficiency-corrected (Pfaffl / qbase) fold change
02Multiple reference genes, combined by geometric mean
03Flags noisy replicates and unstable reference genes
04Primer efficiency and R² from a standard curve
05Reads QuantStudio, CFX and LightCycler exports
06Zero dependencies, self-tested against Livak & Schmittgen

Use Cases

01Turn a plate export into fold changes for a figure
02Check a new primer pair's efficiency from a dilution series
03Catch replicate or reference-gene problems before a reviewer does
