Boyce addresses the challenge of AI agents generating unreliable SQL by connecting Large Language Models (LLMs) to live database contexts with built-in safety rails. It equips agents with structured database intelligence, including real schema and data distributions, to produce accurate and safe SQL every time. This is achieved through three interconnected systems: a deterministic SQL compiler that translates natural language into byte-for-byte consistent SQL, a database inspector that allows agents to see real schema and data distributions, and a query verification layer that performs pre-flight `EXPLAIN` loops to prevent bad SQL from being executed.
