This tool provides a read-only Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that integrates with the CData JDBC Driver for Jira Assets. It exposes Jira Assets data as relational SQL models, allowing Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Claude Desktop to retrieve live information by asking natural language questions, eliminating the need for explicit SQL queries. While this project offers read-only capabilities, CData also provides a free beta version with full read, write, update, delete, and action functionalities for a more comprehensive solution.
