This prototype MCP server for OpenMediaVault empowers users to manage their network-attached storage (NAS) systems remotely through any chat client or integrated MCP tool. Developed during SUSE HackWeek 25, it aims to become a full-fledged OpenMediaVault plugin, providing capabilities to monitor system information, file systems, and shared folders. By integrating with an external LLM stack, it facilitates a chat-driven interface for system administration, streamlining management tasks.
