Recon Crypto is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that empowers AI agents like Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and Cursor to interact with and manage self-custodial crypto portfolios. It allows agents to read on-chain positions across Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Polygon, aggregating data from various DeFi protocols such as Aave, Compound, Morpho Blue, Uniswap V3 LP, Lido, and EigenLayer. The server prepares EVM transactions for actions like supplying, borrowing, swapping via LiFi, and staking, which are then securely signed on a Ledger hardware wallet via WalletConnect. This ensures private keys never leave the device, with human-readable transaction previews provided for user approval.
