Why must EF Core behavior match MSSQL stored procedures exactly?

Bitwarden self-hosted users can choose their preferred database. If EF Core implementations for PostgreSQL or MySQL return different results than the MSSQL stored procedures, it creates inconsistencies and bugs across environments.

Are database-generated IDs allowed in this implementation?

No. Bitwarden generates IDs in the application code using CoreHelpers.GenerateComb(). You should never use ValueGeneratedOnAdd() for ID columns in the EF configuration.
