What is the difference between a Quick Scan and a Full Stocktake?

A Quick Scan only evaluates skills that have been modified since the last audit, typically taking 5-10 minutes. A Full Stocktake performs a complete review of every skill in your directory, which takes 20-30 minutes.

Can I audit project-specific skills?

Yes. If you run the /skill-stocktake command from a project root containing a .claude/skills directory, it will automatically include those local skills in the audit along with your global skills.

Does skill-stocktake automatically delete my skills?

No. While the AI may suggest 'Retire' or 'Merge' verdicts, all file operations like archiving or deletion require explicit user confirmation before any changes are made.
