Front Door Onboarding Audit

0•

Audits repository onboarding and setup paths from clone to working state while identifying documentation drift, friction, and leaked secrets.

Front Door is a read-only audit skill for Claude Code that evaluates a repository's onboarding experience from the perspective of a newcomer with zero prior context. Rather than merely checking whether documentation files exist, it verifies the entire journey from git clone to first execution—flagging competing READMEs, detecting unstated environment prerequisites, analyzing sandbox and network constraints, exposing human-gated auth barriers, and scanning for leaked secrets in the tree and git history. By distinguishing friction an AI agent can resolve from blockers requiring human action, it provides clear verdicts, quick wins, and an optional persistent FRONTDOOR.md health dashboard.
