This skill provides specialized domain expertise for working within the Vyper compiler repository, a Pythonic smart contract language targeting the EVM. It guides developers through the complex compilation pipeline—including AST parsing, semantic analysis, and the legacy or experimental Venom IR code generation paths—while enforcing project-specific best practices for environment management with uv, testing with quicktest.sh, and linting standards. It is an essential companion for those implementing new language features, optimizing IR passes, or ensuring code quality in the Vyper ecosystem.
